Switch has been around for almost a year now. Over the past several months, many indie developers have stepped forward to share their success stories on the console. In a bunch of instances, Switch sales have even outperformed other platforms.

Super Meat Boy is one of the latest high-profile indie titles to hit Switch. And like some of those other titles we’ve been hearing about, it has also found success on Nintendo’s console.

GfK and UKIE has provided GamesIndustry with data that reveals the top 100 best-selling boxed games of 2017 in the UK. Additionally, there’s a breakdown of share by publisher. Find all of the relevant charts below.

Nintendo Switch

This month’s NPD report hasn’t been published just yet, but we do have some early information. Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg actually shared a very noteworthy tidbit on Twitter.

Greenberg indicated that Switch came out on top last month. According to the data he has access to, Nintendo’s console sold the most overall hardware units in December.

FDG Entertainment has two games on Switch right now: Oceanhorn and Blossom Tales. Between them, they’ve collectively sold over 100,000 copies.

FDG just announced the news on Twitter:


Oceanhorn and Blossom Tales have both done very well on Switch. The former sold more copies on Switch than on all other consoles combined while the latter sold double the amount of units on Switch launch day vs. lifetime sales on Steam.

Inversus Deluxe

Inversus Deluxe has already found success on Switch, but this week’s Nindies New Year Sale provided another boost. During its first day, the game actually sold over half the number of units that it sold on launch day.

A new report from Famitsu reveals the best-selling games from 2017. Based on data collected from December 26, 2016 and December 31, 2017, the results are as follows:
