Posted on 6 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in News, Switch | 0 comments
The latest issue of Weekly Jump magazine contained some new information on Dragon Quest Builders 2 (thanks to Gematsu for the translation). First up, some details on the game’s story: when the protagonist is washed ashore on the vacant island where the game takes place, they hear a mysterious voice telling them to go to the top of the island’s mountain. There, they find a mysterious stone monument bearing five crests. There are also numerous stone pillars on the island which are engraved with trials, which the protagonist must pass if they want to become a “Master Builder”.
There are also some new and improved gameplay elements compared to the first game, such as diving, gliding with the wind mantle, dashing, waterfalls and making diagonally-shaped blocks.
