Bravely Default is getting two more crossover bosses from Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.

First up, Asmodeus will be available between December 10 and December 12. Players are advised to be at level 70 before taking him on.

Mammon will also join Bravely Default between December 13 and December 16. Those who are at level 25 or higher are best suited to battle the enemy.

Bravely Default does offer random encounters, but that doesn’t mean players actually have to get involved with this element if they’re not interested. The game includes a slider that can be set as low as -100% or as high as 100% (0% being the standard) for random battles based on user preference.

One player in Japan managed to complete Bravely Default without a single random encounter. Even better, not a single piece of DLC (SP Drinks) was purchased.

The total play time? 20 hours and 25 minutes, on Easy mode. That goes to show how flexible Bravely Default is in terms of play time – you won’t be forced to go through a 40-50 hour RPG.

Square Enix has shared some of the first details about Bravely Second, the true sequel to Bravely Default.

Bravely Second is set in Luxendarc – the same world as the first title – but several years after the Warriors of Light saved the world.

Magnolia Arch is one of the new characters players will encounter. This “Devil Buster” came from the moon, has a daredevil personality, and is the last of her kind after a Demon Lord unexpectedly appeared. Magnolia is also sociable, eccentric, pragmatic, and a romanticist. She’s dainty, but lively. Magnolia rescued Tiz Arrior at one point.
