Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum 'n' Fun

Bandai Namco has dated and detailed the new “eSports Tournament” update for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun. It’s set to arrive on August 19, the company announced today.

Minecraft

A new 1.16.20 update is expected later today for Minecraft. It’ll include new features along with plenty of fixes.

Dead Cells

Dead Cells is continuing to offer up new content for existing players. The next update, known as Barrels o’ Fun, arrives on Switch this summer.

The update adds The Derelict Distillery as a new biome, new enemies, new weapons, explosive barrels and breakable walls, and a new soundtrack. We have further details and a trailer below. 

Fantasy Strike

After going free-to-play, Fantasy Strike has been updated again on Switch. The latest patch involves fixes, adjustments, and character changes.

Resolutiion

Deck13 and Monolith of Minds have detailed a free update coming to Resolutiion, known as “Red Plains”. The action adventure game is adding a new biome, new enemies, and more.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated

THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp have announced that a new SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated update is inbound for Switch. We don’t have an exact release date yet, but it’s targeted for arrival within the next ten days.

Cat Quest II - "Mew World Update"

Publisher PQube and developer The Gentlebros have announced that a “Mew World Update” is now live for Cat Quest II. It includes many quality of life changes – some of which will be implemented straight away, while the Mew Game mode and its meowdifiers will require you to have finished the game once already.

Also announced today is that the Cat Quest franchise has now sold over 1.3 million units worldwide.
