Professor Layton and the New World of Steam just received its latest trailer during the Level-5 Vision 2024 event. The three-minute video provides another look at the upcoming Switch game.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam was unveiled for Switch at the start of 2023. Fans have been waiting patiently since then, and barring any delays, we’ll be seeing it next year.

Holy Horror Mansion

Level-5 today unveiled Holy Horror Mansion, which the company says is its next concept for Yo-kai Watch. The company did not provide a release window, and there’s no word on planned platforms currently.

According to Level-5, Holy Horror Mansion is a ghost craft RPG. The game’s theme is “family”, meaning it’s something the whole family can enjoy together.

Inazuma Eleven Re

Level-5 just announced Inazuma Eleven Re, which is coming to Switch in 2026. This is a remake of the series’ first game.

Inazuma Eleven originally launched for the DS in 2008, but only in Japan. It would take three years for the title to reach the west, though then it was just Europe and Australia. North America finally got in 2014 as part of a new version for 3DS.

Inazuma Eleven Victory Road delayed 2025

Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road doesn’t have an exact release date, but it has a fairly specific release window. Level-5 just announced during a presentation today that the game is arriving for Switch in June 2025.

Yes, this marks yet another delay for the project. Unfortunately, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has seen a number of different delays throughout its lengthy development period. It was most recently planned for this year.

Decapolice has been delayed once again. Today, Level-5 announced that the game is now heading to Switch in 2026.

Loddlenaut review

System: Switch
Release date: September 19, 2024
Developer: Moon Lagoon
Publisher: Secret Mode

When you stop and think about it, most video games have you cleaning up someone else’s mess. Exactly what that mess is will vary of course: you might have to make sure something you’ve inherited runs smoothly, help people out with their problems, or save a world you just happen to be part of from powers that are generally making life difficult. It’s never a problem you’ve created, but it’s always one that only you can solve. Developer Moon Lagoon’s Loddlenaut follows diligently in the footsteps of the likes of Power Wash Simulator by taking this general concept literally, giving you an aquatic planet to scrub down and some adorable creatures to rescue and nurture along the way.

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom dungeon creating

In a new interview ahead of this week’s launch for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on Switch, the developers revealed that the game was originally being made to let players create their own dungeons. Eventually this morphed into echoes featured in the final product.

We get to hear from Grezzo director Satoshi Terada, Nintendo director Tomomi Sano, and series producer Eiji Aonuma here. The group started off by sharing the following:

Epic Mickey Rebrushed review

System: Switch
Release date: September 24, 2024
Developer: Purple Lamp
Publisher: THQ Nordic

I’ve had a 2010 Wii copy of Epic Mickey sitting on my shelf for years, and as much as I had intended to experience Warren Spector’s twisted Mickey Mouse tale well before this point, for one reason or another I’ve just never gotten around to it. In this case, my patience definitely paid off. Developer Purple Lamp – who is quickly garnering a positive reputation for their work in the 3D platforming space – has invested considerable effort to free this ambitious game from the Wii’s limitations and make it accessible to modern audiences. While the Switch version of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed has some disappointing performance issues here and there, overall, this remake is a stunning effort that deserves to be experienced by fans of both Disney and platformers alike.
