Xenoblade Chronicles 3 spoilers

It’s been a while since the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and even though the game is massive, some of us already finished the experience. As it is with a JRPG like this, there’s usually a lot to talk about with regard to the story, exploration, combat and more.

That’s why today’s video is actually a – very long – discussion about Xenoblade Chronicles 3, full of spoilers. If you already played it, feel free to check the video down below and share your own opinions about the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 update 1.1.1

Original: A new 1.1.1 update has just released for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and it fixes quite a few of the game’s more recently discovered bugs and glitches. Notably, it removes a softlock possible by beating a specific enemy early, fixes the cooking mechanic to make it functional again and makes certain previously unobtainable items now normally obtainable.

Here are the full patch notes for Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s version 1.1.1 update:

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 released a little over a month ago to near-universal acclaim. A part of the game that received a significant amount of praise was the characters and how well they were portrayed by their respective voice actors.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 review

System: Switch
Release Date: July 29, 2022
Developer: Monolith Soft
Publisher: Nintendo

With five years between the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3, we’ve had plenty of time to devote ourselves to the world of Alrest and pick apart the differences and similarities between it and the world of the original Xenoblade Chronicles. With the Definitive Edition hitting Switch a mere couple of years ago, we’ve had the series fairly fresh on our minds while waiting for the next release. With side content like Torna: The Golden Country from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the Future Connected content from Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, there has been a lot to take in before getting to 3 – and that’s not counting those of us who also spent time with the stranded-on-Wii U entry of Xenoblade Chronicles X (a completely unrelated story, but with similar gameplay and an unconnected world.)

In an email sent to customers in Japan, Nintendo shared a message from Monolith Soft’s Tetsuya Takahashi, the senior director of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

We’ve translated the full note below, which includes another tease about plans for the future. There’s just a slight story spoiler about the overall series, so keep that in mind before proceeding.

Based on the latest data from GfK, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has seen the series’ biggest launch in the UK thus far.

The game has taken the place of the last record holder, Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition follows in third.

After a not so long wait since its announcement, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has arrived. Personally speaking, this is a very special game to me as it’s the third entry in what is probably my favorite franchise from Nintendo.

It’s a bit unusual for me to publish those “first impressions” videos, but I really felt like there’s a lot to talk about the initial hours of this game. So in the video below, you’ll find a huge Xenoblade fan talking about how good Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been so far. Feel free to share your own experience with the game as well.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 impressions

After the Live A Live remake made it to Switch last week, the console just received another RPG in the form of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Although it’s only been about a day since its official release, it’s likely that many of you have started up the game already.

If you’ve had a chance to try out Xenoblade Chronicles 3, how are you feeling about it so far? If you’ve played other games in the series, how do you feel this new entry compares based on what you’ve experienced? Let us know in the comments below.
