Wii U eShop

THREAKS published the launch trailer for Beatbuddy, which is coming to the European Wii U eShop on Thursday. View it below.

New information about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was revealed during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 media briefing. Creator Koji Igarashi took to the stage to provide a first look at a new character.

At the moment, the new character (pictured above) does not have a name. We know that he’s a demon hunter, and he fought the demons that first come to Earth during an attack that occurred ten years before the game begins. Igarashi confirmed that he’s a dual-sword wielding hero. Additionally, the character uses Japanese ofuda spells to fight enemies.

Nearly 10 minutes of footage is available for the indie Wii U eShop game Beatbuddy. Take a look at the video below.

Freedom Planet was originally going to land on the Wii U eShop today. The game suffered a delay, but it sounds like it was a very minor one as it’s now rescheduled for release next week.

Developer Stevie DiDuro announced on Twitter that Freedom Planet is coming to Wii U on August 13. That’s next Thursday, so the title was only pushed back a few days.
