Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two

The next major piece of Doom Eternal DLC, The Ancient Gods – Part Two – is almost here on Switch. It’s set for release on August 26, Bethesda and id Software just announced.

Here’s an overview of the DLC:

Quake

The classic first-person shooter Quake was just announced and released for Switch a short while ago. Although the initial launch took place on the eShop, physical versions are happening as well. Limited Run Games will be producing three versions.

Quake will have a standard physical release on Switch in addition to a “Deluxe Edition” and “Ultimate Edition”. Here’s what each includes:

Quake

After it was rated by the ESRB earlier today, Quake has landed on Switch. The classic first-person shooter has returned with updated visuals, online local multiplayer and co-op, gyro controls, and more.

Quake

Bethesda, id Software, and Machine Games are bringing Quake to Switch, a listing from the ESRB reveals. This appears to be a re-release of the original game.

QuakeCon will be held today, and the announcement will almost certainly be made during the event. The show’s first session is planned to celebrate the series as a whole. Another session for August 20 will cover the “revitalized edition” of the first-person shooter.

Doom Eternal

Doom Eternal’s latest update went live on Switch this week. Version 1.6 is now available on the platform.

Along with some notable bug fixes, the update includes future in-game event cosmetic content. Find the full patch notes below.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades

The Elder Scrolls: Blades has been updated again on Switch. Version 1.15 is live for the eShop game now.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades has received its latest update. On Switch, the game is now at version 1.14.
