Though the 3DS version of Smash has been out for some time now, I think it’s funny in a weird Nintendo way that so much effort is being put into censoring the roster for those who decided to wait. Today’s screenshot is a look at one of the secret fighter’s reveal cinematic:

The Final Fantasy Explorers official website was recently updated and it added a whole lot of new content, most notably some in-game shots of Bartz from Final Fantasy V and Tidus and Yuna from Final Fantasy X! There’s quite a lot of new stuff including a heap of new screenshots and a few job trailers, which we’ve placed after the jump.

There was a slew of GameCube inspired Wiimote attachments announced prior to E3 this year, where Nintendo officially announced the GameCube adapter for Wii U which prompted almost all clones to disappear from the market very quickly. It looks like Hori have decided to stay in the game with a particularly stylish controller however, set to be released on December 6 for 2980 yen. This Mario and Luigi themed GameCube inspired controller features a slightly larger d-pad and a turbo button with 3 settings.

The game may not even be out yet, but Japanese players already have details of the first event for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. From November 1st through to April 30th 2015, players will be able to collect codes redeemable for in-game for items such as Nuggets, Super Potions, Luxury Balls, Rare Candies and Master Balls. Legendary Pokemon Shaymin, Keldeo and Victini are also on offer for those that can find them during the event.

These codes are found through clippings obtained through merchandise like the TCG booster packs Gaia Volcano and Tidal Storm, in Pokemon Sandwich packs and in Pokemon 3D pencil cases. A total of 50 different cards are up for grabs though not all rewards are equal in value. The number of cards needed for each reward are as follows:

  • Shaymin only needs 1 card
  • A Nugget needs 3 cards
  • A Super Potion need 5 cards
  • Keldeo needs 7 cards
  • Luxury Balls need 10 cards
  • A Rare Candy need 13 cards
  • Victini needs 16 cards
  • A Master Ball needs a total of 20 cards
