Our first look at Ike since his reveal! Sakurai explains how his Eruption attack will work:

You can charge up Ike’s Eruption attack by holding the button down, but remember to release it right before it fully charges to avoid recoil damage. Let go of the button at the moment the sword shines!

A PR stunt has gone seriously wrong for Watch Dogs in Australia, as Mumbrella report that a bomb squad had to be called to newsstation Ninemsn’s office. Apparently a package arrived with a letter and a small safe, with instructions for the addressee to check their voicemail. Of course with no voicemail to check, a pin was punched into the safe, it started beeping and… Things started to escalate. After checking with other newsrooms to see if they’d received something similar, staff eventually were evacuated and the bomb squad was called. Ninemsn’s Hal Crawford told Mumbrella “This is definitely the other side of the line in terms of what is safe for a PR company to send anonymously to a newsroom. The thing was black, heavy and slightly creepy.” After the bomb squad was called, the safe was carefully opened… and a copy of Watch Dogs was found.

But any publicity is good publicity right?

You’ll be performing a lot of tricks when Mario Kart 8 drops this week, but it’ll probably be because of the speed boost you get as opposed to being able to watch your character pull off some fancy stunts. If you’re curious to see how the characters will look before the game drops (and you know, before blue shells and collecting coins are occupying all your thought power) check out the video below

Atlus uploaded three new videos of Persona Q showcasing things like map-making at F.O.E. (Field On Enemy). This footage really shows the game’s parallels to Etrian Odyssey

Today’s screenshot touches on another minor detail, this time pertaining to how the amount of damage taken affects character models. Previously as percentage got higher on a character in the Smash Bros. series, their models don’t change but as Sakurai explains:

Characters that have heavy damage slowly start to emit steam. When your opponent starts to get nice and smoky, give ’em a solid attack!
