Splatoon: Arowana Mall being changed not just in Splat Zones, but all game modes
Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in News, Wii U | 6 Comments
Splatoon’s big update is coming soon, and one of the changes listed in the patch notes was that “certain stage elements” in Arowana Mall are being adjusted in Splat Zones. However, the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account clarified today that the stage is being changed in all game modes, not just Splat Zones.
What do you think Nintendo will change? What part of Arowana Mall needs improvements?

Square Enix reiterates that Dragon Quest XI is only being “considered” for NX
Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in News, Switch | 17 Comments
Last week, Square Enix announced the latest installment in the Dragon Quest franchise. The fact that the game is being released for PS4 and 3DS simultaneously was already a big enough surprise, but no one expected that Dragon Quest XI (and Dragon Quest X) would be announced for Nintendo’s NX as well. In a press release issued after the announcement, however, the wording changed from a “planned” NX release to a “considered” NX release.
Kotaku reached out to Square Enix for clarification and got the following response:
“Our press release contained the official statement that had been originally planned, and there is no reason to believe any changes were made mid-way to the content of the official announcement. The comment made during the event was not based on the official statement, so please allow us to correct our statement at this moment. We regret any confusion this may have caused.”
Looks like we’ll likely have to wait until an official announcement from Nintendo before we hear anything new about the NX versions of Dragon Quest X and XI.

Rumour: Nintendo’s UK online store to offer a subscription box service á la Loot Crate
Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in General Nintendo | 7 Comments
MCV reports that the Nintendo UK online store will launch a service called “N-Box” soon, which will be a product similar to the popular “Loot Crate”.
According to MCV, those boxes will contain “toys, clothes and other merchandise inspired by and branded with Nintendo icons such as Mario, Zelda and Pokémon.” You will supposedly be able to buy boxes individually or subscribe for either three, six or 12 months and receive a box each month.
Again, this has not yet been officially confirmed by Nintendo, although MCV are a fairly reputable outlet.
