In a tweet earlier today, developer Fuzzy Wuzzy Games teased a new game for “a brand new IP featuring brand new characters.” While it is unclear what console the game will be available on, the developer previously released their 3D action puzzle platformer Armillo on the Wii U eShop in 2014. The psychological horror game Layers of Fear: Legacy is set for a release on Switch February 21. With just little over a week from release, Bloober Team, the game’s developer, has detailed how the Switch’s unique HD Rumble feature will be used in the game in conjunction with the Joy-Con:

Probably the one feature that will stand out immediately will be the ability to open a door or a drawer by the swing of your hand. We have been working with the rumble feature for some time, trying to tune it to an output that won’t spoil the discreet atmosphere of our horror game with over-rumbling (a reaction you would expect to follow a jump scare), but preserving a distinct tactile experience, while exploring the game’s environment.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy

Last week, Hey Poor Player conducted an interview with the director of SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy, Kaito Soranaka, and the game’s producer, Yasuyuki Oda, to discuss SNK’s upcoming fighting game. During the interview, Oda explained that the development team is working to ensure that there are “no differences” between the Switch and PS4 versions of the game, but that they have had some “growing pains” while developing for Nintendo’s console.

Oda: First off, we’d like to state that we are working hard to make sure that there is no difference between the two platforms the game will be released on. We will say that there are growing pains while developing on the Switch because it’s our first time working with the hardware. That being said, everything we encountered we’ve anticipated beforehand because of those growing pains.
