Death’s Gambit: Afterlife players on Switch can now get their hands on new content, as Ashes of Vados has recently been made available. This follows the game’s original launch back in September.
Death’s Gambit: Afterlife Ashes of Vados acts as an epilogue to the main story with new features and modes. It contains new boss fights, a new combat arena, and more.

Mayhem Brawler, which has thus far only been available on the eShop, will soon have a physical release on Switch. Red Art Games is planning a boxed version of the game.
The company will be readying 2,900 units. Each copy will even include a double-sided poster.

Reggie originally thought Metroid: Other M would be a “killer moment” for the series

To say the least, Metroid: Other M was a different take on the classic franchise. Nintendo handed primary development off to Team Ninja, the team behind Ninja Gaiden. The title also took on a greater story emphasis compared to past entries. Ultimately it earned a mixed reception.
As it turns out, former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime initially had very high hopes for the title. On the latest episode of Kinda Funny Gamescast, he singled out Metroid: Other M as the game that didn’t hit the mass market the way he originally expected.

Fire Emblem Heroes announces Beyond Control summoning event

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced Beyond Control as the next summoning event in Fire Emblem Heroes. It will feature Heroes cloaked in a terrifying aura.
Lilith: Silent Broodling (voiced by Danielle Judovitz, art by Kousei Horiguchi), Ninian: Frozen Heart (voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker, art by Konfuzi Kokon), Gustav: Sovereign Slain (voiced by Edward Bosco, art by Kozaki Yusuke), and Rhea: Emmaculate One (voiced by Cherami Leigh, art by teffish) are set for the event.
