Absolute Drift

The racing game Absolute Drift makes its debut on Switch today. Get a look at some footage in the video below.

Absolute Drift is being distributed digitally for Switch via the eShop. For more information and a trailer, head on over here.

Borderlands Legendary Collection

A new update has gone out for the Switch version of Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition. According to the official Twitter account, it addresses stability issues some players experienced.

While not mentioned specifically, the patch should take care of a problem with Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary. Some players reported crashes and being unable to start the game after installing the DLC. This new patch should take care of any issues.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

This week brought us the start of December, which means there are new bugs, fish, and underwater creatures to catch in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Both hemispheres have cycled out the lineup of critters that are currently available.

Synthetik: Ultimate

As reported a few days ago, the tactical shooter rogue-lite Synthetik: Ultimate is making its way to Switch next week. A new trailer for the game can be found below.

A new Switch bundle has been revealed, which is apparently Walmart exclusive. There is no game here but you’ll be getting a couple of extras.

The big inclusion is a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription. A carrying case is thrown in for good measure as well.

When you think of third-party games on Nintendo systems, LEGO is one of the first things that may come to mind. After all, we’ve seen numerous titles on the Big N’s systems going back to the N64. It also helps that several LEGO games tend to release each generation.

Given all of this information, it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that LEGO is the best-selling third-party franchise on Nintendo platforms. That’s according to the NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella.

Piscatella shared a couple of other noteworthy tidbits as well. LEGO is the ninth-biggest video game franchise in history in terms of dollar sales. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, LEGO Batman, and LEGO Star Wars II are the best-selling entries.
