2.5D platformer DoubleShake heading to Switch

Thanks to Kickstarter, Rightstick Studios has secured enough funds to develop DoubleShake, a 2.5D platformer. The game is currently targeting Switch and a 2021 release.

Buy Animal Crossing: New Horizons at Target starting November 1, get a premium journal

Target has announced a new purchase bonus for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Those that buy the game will be eligible for a premium journal.
The journal will be handed out starting on November 1, though it’s unclear how long the offer will be running for. Also keep in mind that this applies to in-store locations only.

Anonymous;Code was first announced way back in March 2015, and the Switch version was confirmed a couple of years later. Unfortunately, it’s still not any closer to release, as today’s Mages company strategy presentation live stream revealed that the title has moved from this winter to Fall 2021 in Japan.

Octopath Traveler: The Complete Guide getting English release

Dark Horse has teamed up with Square Enix to provide an English localization of Octopath Traveler: The Complete Guide. The hardcover book will feature information about the main narrative, boss strategies, and subquests. That’s on top of environment maps, illustrations, and explanations/commentary from the development team.

Tying in with the launch of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, My Nintendo has added a new reward. Members can now obtain the Mario Kart Racer ID card insert. The best part? It doesn’t cost any points whatsoever.
There are other new rewards on My Nintendo, including a Nintendo NY coupon for a free character key chain or pin with a purchase of $50 or more at the store.

Pokemon Sword/Shield – rewards for 100% Pokedex completion in The Crown Tundra revealed

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have added another large batch of creatures to collect stemming from The Crown Tundra’s expansion. It’ll take a bit of time, but over 200 Pokemon have been added to the games.
When you do manage to complete the latest Pokedex, you’ll have the opportunity to obtain a few rewards. You’ll want to head on over to the first station at Slippery Slope and speak with the lady inside.
