Original: GameStop announced today that former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has been appointed as one of three new independent members to its Board of Directors. His role will go into effect on April 20. William “Bill” Simon and James “J.K.” Symancyk have also joined on.

GameStop noted in the press release that the appointments of these three members “are the result of a comprehensive search process led by the Board of Directors and involving shareholder input.” Dan DeMatteo, Gerald Szczepanski, Larry Zilavy, Steve Koonin, Jerome Davis, and Tom Kelly are retiring from the board.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition has been updated on Switch. Version 1.0.1 is out now, addressing a couple of issues.

First, Capcom addressed a bug in which Ranged Weapons’ upgrades were not applying in Free Style mode. Rare instances of save data corruption have also been fixed.

Pre-orders open on March 13 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. You’ll be able to reserve a copy through Limited Run Games’ website.

Back in 2015, the puzzle game Quell Memento joined the 3DS eShop. Fallen Tree Games is now bringing that same experience to Switch. According to an eShop listing, it’ll be out this month.

It’s been several years since The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia first appeared on bookshelves. Now, however, a digital release will finally be happening.

The likes of Amazon, Apple Books, and Google Play indicate that the digital version of Hyrule Historia is arriving on April 14. Some may prefer the physical edition, though this one’s cheaper at $19.99 compared to the original $39.99 asking price.

Late last year, Snipperclips developer SFB Games came out with its detective adventure game Tangle Tower. Following the strong reception, the studio has decided to move forward with a sequel.

Not much is known at the project at this time. However, don’t expect it to be called Tangle Tower 2 due to the inclusion of an entirely new story and characters.

There’s no word on a release window for the sequel this time. SFB Games is currently working on the writing.

The Persistence, a survival-horror roguelike that first appeared on PlayStation VR, is now making the jump to Switch. Publisher Perp Games and developer Firesprite Games have announced that it will launch on Nintendo’s console this summer.
