Stardew Valley has been updated again on Switch. Version 1.4.4 is now available, featuring a number of fixes and adjustments.

Shiny Ski Resort hitting Switch next week

Kairosoft is continuing its rollout of Switch games with Shiny Ski Resort. The simulation title, which involves running a ski resort as the name implies, is scheduled for February 6.

PowerA making Pokemon Sword/Shield controllers for Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey

Last week, it was revealed that PowerA has new Animal Crossing and Doom Eternal controllers in the works for Switch. If that wasn’t enough, Pokemon Sword/Shield will have . Designs are based on the starter Pokemon: Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey.

All three of these controllers appear to be launching pretty soon, as Amazon is listing a February 14 release date. You can pre-order each one here.

Geoff Keighley on Reggie’s support of The Game Awards, Iwata said Nintendo would always back the show

Nintendo has always been a big supporter of The Game Awards. Going back to the show’s debut, former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime attended every single year and the company was represented on the advisory board. It’s also been home to big announcements like Bayonetta 3, Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and more.
In a recent Reddit AMA, The Game Awards creator and producer Geoff Keighley spoke further about Nintendo’s backing. Keighley revealed that late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata personally told him that the Big N would always be sure to support the show, which meant a lot to him. Keighley noted that The Game Awards wouldn’t be what it is without Iwata and Reggie.
