Dog Duty

The real time tactics game Dog Duty is coming to Switch, SOEDESCO and Zanardi & Liza have announced. It will launch this spring.

Dog Duty has been in Steam Early Access where it has received a number of updates. The game has added new playable characters and enemies, revamped its UI, added more dialogue and encounters with both friendly and enemy NPCs, and included the ability to engage with conquered and enemy outposts via a new radio deploy system. Fortunately, the Switch version will be released with all of these updates.

Conan Chop Chop

Conan Chop Chop won’t be making its intended February 25 release date. Developer Mighty Kingdom and publisher Funcom announced a delay today, and have now provided a new Q2 2020 release window.

Mighty Kingdom CEO Philip Mayes said of the news:

We’ve previously heard that a new Mythical Pokemon is being created for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Although we won’t get a proper look at it until later in the month, Japanese magazine CoroCoro has provided an early look today during a live stream. A partial silhouette of the creature can be found above.

CoroCoro intends to offer a full look at the Mythical Pokemon in its next issue. It will also be officially unveiled during Pokemon Day on February 27.

Hamster is bringing Arcade Archives Sasuke VS Commander to Switch this week, the company has announced. A release is planned for February 13 worldwide.

Sasuke vs Commander was originally released in 1980. The shooting title has players taking on the role of a ninja, who is assigned by the shogun to defeat the land’s numerous villains.

Arcade Archives Sasuke VS Commander will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is featured in the latest issue of Famitsu. The magazine takes a look at the new Cindered Shadows DLC, and even has an interview with some of the developers.

The last A-Train series game to appear on a Nintendo platform was A-Train 3D for 3DS back in 2014 / 2015. Today, developer Artdink revealed that a new entry is planned for Switch.

Specifics behind the new Switch project have not yet been shared. Artdink tweeted out the following, but nothing more:

A new update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is now available. Version 3.1.0 update has started distributing, featuring a second floor in the cabin, the ability to eat multiple fortune cookies at once, feature improvements, and more.
