Nintendo Switch

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of January 2020.

As far as physical software sales go, Nintendo was the biggest publisher of the month. The company’s sales saw a 21 percent share of the market. Switch accounted for 16.3 percent of tracked game sales for the month, though that’s not included Nintendo’s first-party games from digital. When only looking at physical sales, Switch titles were at 31 percent.

Even though there were shortages of Nintendo hardware, Switch was the most successful family of consoles regarding both revenue and units. Switch Lite was the most successful individual console SKU over the course of the month.
