Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has been updated on Switch. As part of version 3.0.0, Rise of the Phoenix is now available for those that have purchased the game’s DLC.

To recap, Phoenix, Gambit, Iceman, and Cable have been added as new characters with an extra story to boot for Dark Phoenix. The Danger Room mode can now be accessed as well.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Animal Crossing: New Horizons moves one slot down to #3.

Into the Breach

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include Blossom Tales, Cities: Skylines, Fast RMX, Hotline Miami Collection, Into the Breach, and more.

Celica: Queen of Valentia is heading to Fire Emblem Heroes as the next Legendary Hero. The character will be added on December 24 / December 25.

Bandai Namco is continuing its support for Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission with another update. Announced today, players can look forward to move content on January 9, 2020.

Next month’s update features five new missions and 17 new cards. A trio of battle modules and accessories are also included.

Splatoon 2

It’s been a couple of months since the last Splatoon 2 update, but Nintendo has another one in store. The company announced that the next patch will be delivered worldwide on January 5 in North America / January 6 in Europe.

Expect version 5.1.0 to include weapon adjustments. Patch notes haven’t been published in English at this time, but we’ll share them once they’re available.

Another update, which will likely be version 5.2.0, should follow around the end of April.

Since the release of Crash team Racing Nitro-Fueled earlier this year, the racer has received regular content updates. Activision and Beenox have delivered several Grand Prix events with new characters, tracks, and more. The latest one, Winter Festival, just went live a few days ago

Players will be happy to hear that the content updates won’t be stopping this year. Another Grand Prix is confirmed to go live in 2020, though further details haven’t been provided. When we have more details, we’ll be sure to pass those along to you.
