Chained Echoes is one of the latest Kickstarter success stories. After raising €60,000, creator Matthias Linda will be able to move full steam ahead with the project – and it’ll be released on Switch. The campaign ended with a total of €130,409 generated, securing a release on Nintendo’s console.

Chained Echoes is a 16-bit, story driven RPG with turn based battles with controllable mechs and more. We have further information and a trailer below.

Creator David Wehle has made a new update available for The First Tree on Switch. According to Wehle, it adds in a “special online delivery system that occurs only at the end of the game.” It sounds like quite a bit of work was involved, as Nintendo and partner DO Games helped out with testing.

Splatoon 2 will be updated on March 10 (March 11 for those in Europe) to version 4.5.0 notes. Ahead of its distribution, Nintendo has posted the official patch notes.

Famitsu recently published interviews with Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi in back-to-back issues. We have a translation of the first part ready now.

During the discussion, Takumi had quite a bit to say about the original game’s origins. He touched on the Japanese name, how it was initially targeted for the Game Boy Color, and more.

Nintendo, Creatures, and Game Freak have filed a new trademark for Armored Mewtwo in Japan. It was applied for on February 18 of this year.

It’s unclear if the trademark will be used in the future. That being said, perhaps it’s possible that Armored Mewtwo could tie into Pokemon Sword/Shield. We haven’t covered this here, but one of the more prominent rumors concerning the games is that there will be Armored Evolutions.
