Switch is getting a double dose of Rune Factory games. Rune Factory 4 Special is releasing later this year. Also on the way is Rune Factory 5, though no word yet on a release window.


As announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, Disney Tsum Tsum is coming to Switch. The Bandai Namco-developed puzzle game is due out this year.


Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition will be released this fall in the west, Nintendo and Square Enix have announced.

Players can switch between 3D visuals and 2D graphics. It’ll also support orchestrated music, Japanese voice work, and more.


Nintendo has dated Dragon Quest Builders 2 for the west. The game will launch on July 12, the company has confirmed.


Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Nintendo isn’t done with the Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. During today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that an update is releasing today that adds two-player co-op. There will also be 18 new challenges as DLC.


Nintendo made a few announcements pertaining to Smash Bros. Ultimate today. Here’s what we know:

– Ver 3.0 update coming in spring
– Persona 5’s Joker joins the fight by end of April
– Snake, Simon, Squirtle, Pokemon Trainer, and Ivysaur amiibo coming this year


BoxBoy + BoxGirl is coming to Switch, Nintendo has revealed. A release is planned for April 26.

The game will come packed with co-op and 270 stages. There’s also a new adventure with Qudy.


Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has been given a release window. During today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the game is due out this summer.

Below are a few details:

– Heroic camera
– Local and online multiplayer
– Captain Marvel in the game
– Each hero has an alliance extreme attack


Super Mario Maker 2 is coming to Switch, Nintendo announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. The game launches this June.

New features were shown in the debut trailer, including slopes. You’ll also be able to use a brand new style based on Super Mario 3D World.

Nintendo Directs have been on a bit of a hiatus, but are finally back in a big way. A new presentation will be kicking off in an hour from now – 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe. It’ll last about 35 minutes.

Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem: Three Houses will have a presence here. Beyond that, things are a bit of a mystery. We’ll all find out what Nintendo has in store for us very soon, and you can watch the event as it happens below.
