NIS America confirmed yesterday that it has several patches in the works for Switch. Among what will be addressed on launch day, the company will be fixing some issues with text. Future updates include tackling crashing issues, implementing Japanese voices, and more.

Here’s the full rundown on Ys VIII’s Switch updates: 

Retailers are gearing up for the NES Classic Edition’s restock on June 29. GameStop has come forward with a few details on how it will be handling things.

GameStop will have “at least 10 units per store,” with some locations possibly having a larger stock. Quantities will be limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk

Alongside the new summer-centric summoning focus for Fire Emblem Heroes, the mobile game has received some Paralogue Maps. Check out footage of the content below.

Pokemon GO has added a new Legendary Pokemon. Starting today, Regice can be found in Raid Battles worldwide. The Pokemon will be live until July 19.

Regirock and Registeel are also planned for Pokemon GO. Both should be rolled out in subsequent weeks.

Side note: Solrock and Lunatone have now switched regions to commemorate the Solstice.

Okami HD Limited Edition

As far as we know, Japan is the only region where Okami HD is having a physical release on Switch. Thankfully, you can import the game, and we’re now hearing that English will be a supported language option. That isn’t overly surprising given Capcom’s handling of other Switch titles, but the confirmation is reassuring.

Play-Asia currently has pre-orders open for the physical version of Okami HD on Switch. You can reserve the standard release here or limited edition with a soundtrack CD here.

Miles & Kilo

Four Horses issued a launch trailer for Miles & Kilo, which is slated for July 5 on the Switch eShop. Have a look at the video below.

The new friends, trading, and gifts features announced for Pokemon GO this week are now live. However, there is a caveat.

In order to add friends, you’ll need to be at level 40. You’ll receive a notice about this if you attempt to use the functionality at a lower level. This is likely to be a temporary restriction, though it’s unclear when Niantic will make it available to a wider array of players.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has updated its maintenance schedule for the next few days. One session is planned tonight, with two more scheduled for next week.
