The latest Splatfest in Splatoon 2 was held this weekend, and it was a big one. Nintendo had the Squid and Octopus teams battling it out.
After a day of battles, the Splatfest has concluded. Nintendo just shared the results as well.

Fire Emblem Heroes has kicked off its latest Bound Hero Battle. Leo: Sorcerers Prince and Elise: Budding Flower from Fire Emblem Fates are in Special Maps. By beating Hard through Infernal modes, you can earn more Orbs.
Also remember that Fire Emblem Heroes received its latest update to Blessed Gardens yesterday. Fountain of Fire has been added as the new map.
WarioWare Gold pre-load live on the 3DS eShop, file size

WarioWare Gold is launching in North America on August 3. Ahead of its release, Nintendo has made the pre-load option available on the 3DS eShop.
WarioWare Gold takes up 9,836 blocks of space. That amounts to 1.2GB.
Don’t forget: a demo for WarioWare Gold is available on the 3DS eShop right now.

Flying Tiger Entertainment isn’t slowing down with its Data East arcade releases on Switch. Next month, the company will be publishing Shoot Out.
Shoot Out, an action-packed shooter, will have players stopping criminal gangsters and saving civilians. It’s due out on August 2 for $7.99.
Bethesda hopes to continue Switch support “with whatever we’re making that will run and run well”

Bethesda was an early supporter of Switch, and that support has continued into this year. Following up on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Doom, Wolfenstein II and Fallout Shelter released not too long ago. The Elder Scrolls: Legends will also arrive later this year.
Bethesda’s Pete Hines was recently quizzed about Switch games going forward. Hines did mention that id Software has its hands full at the moment, though the company is considering what fans are interested in as well as future titles “that might be a good fit.” He concluded that Bethesda wants to continue supporting Switch “with whatever we’re making that will run and run well”

In this week’s issue of Famitsu, the Japanese magazine has a lengthy interview for Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee. Director Junichi Masuda was brought in to discuss the new Switch entry in the franchise.
Masuda spoke about the game’s graphics, making changes to core aspects of the series (like removing wild battles which was debated internally), the decision to use mechanics from Pokemon GO, and more. We also have the full comments on Masuda speaking about the 2019 title, which we reported on earlier in the week.
