A Magical High School Girl

We’re in the midst of April Fools’ Day when fake announcements are common, but Sekai Project actually announced its first game for Switch at Sakura-Con yesterday. A Magical High School Girl is coming to the system this summer.

A Magical High School Girl is a roguelike RPG. You can craft your own magic based on what you name your spells, battle monsters, and make friends with various characters.

We have further information and a trailer for A Magical High School Girl below.

Now that both Outlast games can be downloaded on Switch, Red Barrels has come out with a new series trailer. We have it below.

Fire Emblem Heroes has added in three more pieces of content today.

First, Bound Hero Battle Revival: Minerva & Maria is up and running. Players can take on limited-time special quests until April 10.

Fire Emblem Heroes also has the Grotto of Fire added for Blessed Gardens. You can visit it using four Heroes who are either Fire-type legendary Heroes or Heroes with a Fire blessing.

Lastly, Awakening Special Maps, Part 2 is here. It features Olivia: Flushing Beauty.

Nintendo tends to be quiet regarding its E3 plans until the show is rather close, but this year, the company shared some news pretty early. Last week, it was announced that Super Smash Bros. Switch and Splatoon 2 will both be seeing their own tournaments.

Polygon spoke with Nintendo’s Bill Trinen about the Super Smash Bros. Invitational 2018 and Splatoon 2 World Championship. Trinen noted the following:

We’re not quite sure what’s going on with Bad Dudes at the moment. Originally, it was planned for March 21 on the Switch eShop. Its release date then moved to March 29.

Here we are once again: Bad Dudes still isn’t available. And the eShop listing has updated again, showing a new release date of April 5.

Will this new date stick? We can only hope. We’re not sure what’s even causing the delays, but the situation is definitely confusing.

We heard from Pipeworks Studio this week that Terraria is still in the works for Switch. Interestingly, a listing for the game has now appeared on Amazon Canada. That would seem to confirm that a physical version is happening similar to 3DS and Wii U.

As for an estimated release window, Amazon Canada sadly doesn’t provide anything new there. The retailer merely lists an obviously placeholder of December 31.

Terraria was originally intended for release on Switch sometime in 2017. We’re without a release date, but perhaps Amazon Canada’s listing is a sign that we could be seeing it sooner rather than later.

As is tradition for NIS America, Penny-Punching Princess’ release will be accompanied by a limited edition. Get a closer look at the full contents in the unboxing video below.
