This week’s issue of Famitsu unfortunately made a critical error regarding the Fire Emblem Awakening DLC for Fire Emblem Warriors. The magazine said that the DLC would be out on March 22, but that’s not actually the case.

With the official Japanese website updating today, the final release date for the Awakening DLC is March 29. That’s likely to be during the evening of March 28 in North America.

We also have another important note about the new update due out alongside the DLC. With version 1.5.0, support for video capture will be added in.

Masters of Anima isn’t too far away from release. The new game will be available on April 10 for Switch as an eShop download, Passtech Games revealed today.

Koei Tecmo has a new trailer up for the latest Japanese Atelier Lydie & Suelle: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting DLC, which features new playable character Ilmeria Von Leinweber. You can view it below.

The award season is just about wrapping up, but one of the last few major events was hosted tonight. Winners for the 2018 Game Developers Choice Awards were revealed during a ceremony at the San Francisco Moscone Center.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild was the big winner, taking home three awards in total. The title was also chosen as “Game of the Year”.

GDC was packed with panels today, including a session dedicated to Sonic the Hedgehog. Game designer Hirokazu Yasuhara and character designer Naoto Oshima presented a post-mortem of the classic title’s creation.

One of the most interesting pieces of information shared during the panel was that the backstory involved a fighter pilot with Sonic painted on the nose of his plane. Yasuhara and Oshima even presented a massive original design document with an extensive story in Japanese.

Last week, Nintendo started sharing new Hint Art for Super Mario Odyssey through social media. While they don’t give any Power Moons, there is a little something for those who choose to find them.
