Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 5 Comments
Switch is already home to a few different shoot ’em ups. However, Brazilian studio Loomiarts hopes to stand out with Squadron 51, which offers a very unique visual style.
In Squadron 51, you’ll take on extraterrestrial enemies in aircraft battles with an aesthetic inspired by sci-fi movies from the ’50s. The game will feature six levels with a variety of environments, four aircrafts, and local two-player multiplayer. You’ll find that the story unfolds through cut-scenes and dialogue between pilots during gameplay.
Squadron 51 is planned for the end of 2018. We’ve posted a gameplay video below.

Mario Party: The Top 100 sold through 60% of its initial shipment in Japan
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 3 Comments
Mario Party: The Top 100 debuted in Japan on December 28. Through December 31, it moved a little over 50,000 copies. Dengeki further adds that the game sold through roughly 60% of its initial shipment.
We also know that Mario Party: The Top 100 sold another 50,000 copies in its second week, so sales remained very steady. Part of that is likely due to carryover from the holidays. Even so, for the kind of game it is, Nintendo is likely pleased with how it’s selling thus far.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy was unveiled for Switch this week. It was one of a few announcements made during the new Nintendo Direct Mini.
In both North America and Europe, NIS America will be in charge of publishing. The company published a message on Twitter stating that the game won’t have anything removed or replaced in the west, perhaps to ease concerns about possible censorship.
The tweet is as follows:
The content released globally will contain the same costumes and content. Nothing will be removed or replaced in the Western release. As for controls, it is more accessible for all players, and not just the hardcore fighting gamers 🙂 You will use your entire controller.
