May 28: A new trailer has just come in for Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV. As of now it’s only available in Japanese, but typically an English version goes live later.

While we did previously see Super Mario Party Jamboree on Nintendo Switch, it’s now set for Switch 2 release later this year. New content and features are planned, many of which were revealed during a Nintendo Direct in April.

The latest European Nintendo Downloads for the week of May 29, 2025 are as follows:

Absolum physical

Silver Lining Interactive, in partnership with Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks today announced a physical release for Absolum on Nintendo Switch. Boxed versions will be available alongside the digital launch later in 2025.

Absolum will be sold standalone in addition to a Signature Edition. The latter includes the following goodies housed in a special box:

Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo trailer

One last trailer is here for Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo to go along today’s launch. This is a pixel-art top-down adventure that’s said to be the world’s first “yoyovania”.

Nintendo Switch App update 3.0.1

With Nintendo Switch 2 arriving in about a week, the Nintendo Switch App has gone live with a new version 3.0.1 update. This was previously known as the Nintendo Switch Online app for mobile.

Aside from the name change, Nintendo Switch 2 is now supported. There are also a couple of new friend features.

Lapin

September 11: CFK will be bringing Lapin to Switch, the company has announced. As of now it does not have a release window.

Originally released by Studio Doodal in 2023, Lapin is a 2D platformer that follows the adventures of an expedition of brave rabbits. Across five episodes, players will have to nimbly control their character to overcome life-threatening obstacles, meet new friends, and embark on new adventures through new lands.

Pardon My French Toast

Announced today, the 3D platformer Pardon My French Toast is set to appear on Nintendo Switch. Fans will be able to grab it later this year.

ReRolled Studio is behind the title, which is about a piece of toast capable of using different abilities. True to the genre, there are plenty of collectibles to find.

ChaseTag

Team Gloupi, along with Zero Games Studios, today shared the news that they’re gearing up for ChaseTag on Nintendo Switch. This one is due out in 2026.

As the name implies, ChaseTag is a tag-based experience. You’ll need to catch your opponent before the time expires, and there are different elements thrown into the area like platforms and trampolines.

Barda

Mudita Games shared the news today that for its next project Barda, a release is planned for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. It’s first coming to PC Early Access in October with the full launch to follow later on.

Barda is described as a solarpunk roguelike backpack survival game. The action is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the throes of reconstruction as a young adventurer sets out to lay his grandfather’s ashes atop a hostile, ever-changing mountain.

VGNYsoft, in partnership with Eastasiasoft, is set to bring out a physical release for Rick Henderson on Nintendo Switch.

The game will be available standalone, though are also plans for “Elite”, “Extra” and “Extra Elite” editions. Limited to 2,500 copies, the individually numbered Elite Edition has a 24-page booklet, certificate, and premium metallic effect cover. The Extra Edition – of which there will only be 1,000 units – contains the standard game, a certificate, enamel ship pin, pilot wings pin, enemy faction sticker sheet, lenticular art print, vinyl record, and developer archives USB floppy disc. Finally, the Extra Elite Edition will be limited to 500 units and is essentially the same as the Extra Edition, but has the Elite Edition game (instead of standard).
