Akka Arrh trailer

Atari has come through with a launch trailer for Akka Arrh, its new arcade shooter experience. The game is officially available on Switch.

Titanium Hound

Publisher OverGamez, along with developer Red Spot Sylphina, announced today that Titanium Hound is incoming for Switch. You’ll be able to pick it up tomorrow next month – specifically March 11, 2023.

Titanium Hound is a 2D cyberpunk action platformer in which players pilot a huge and agile exoskeleton. The goal is to defeat hordes of crazed security drones and abominations in hopes of uncovering a conspiracy that’s been carefully crafted by a global corporations.

Breakers Collection update

A new update has just come out for the fighting title Breakers Collection.

For those that completed the Team Battle Event, a new reward is available. Some quality of life improvements are also included, along with text fixes.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered issues

Bandai Namco has issued a statement about the Switch version of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, apologizing for issues players have encountered and confirmed that a patch is being explored.

From a technical standpoint, there are a few important problems at present. One such issue concerns long loading times between battles and exploring the world map, which are even longer than they were for the original game. The frame rate isn’t always steady either and can see a fair amount of drops. There are some other technical issues as well.

In its statement about the Switch version of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Bandai Namco said the following (via Abyssal Chronicles):

Atelier Marie Remake physical

If you’re interested in picking up a physical version for Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, you might be interested to hear that the Switch game will be sold at retail in Asia with English support. This is significant as the title will be digital-only in the west. Typically there’s a boxed release for the Atelier entries in the west, but not this time around.

Atelier Marie Remake is based on the original PlayStation title. This is first time it’s being released outside of Japan.

Nintendo E3 2023

Nintendo has made it official that it will not be attending E3 2023. Additionally, an official statement has been released.

The main takeaway is that Nintendo said that “this year’s E3 show didn’t fit into our plans”. The company did acknowledge that it has “been and continue to be a strong supporter of the ESA and E3.”
