Best Buy: $5 off any Wii U/3DS game, 10% off Wii U/Wii/3DS accessory

Nintendo held an event at Best Buy today to show off amiibo and some 3DS games. That wasn’t all though! Nintendo also provided a QR code to obtain a Mii on 3DS for Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma, and a couple of coupons were handed out – one to save $5 on any Wii U/3DS title, and another to save 10 percent on Wii U/3DS/Wii accessories.
We’re not entirely sure yet if the coupon only works at stores that participated in today’s event, or if it works at all Best Buy locations. If we receive a definitive answer, we’ll update this post. You can find a list of stores that were involved with the event here.

Famitsu weighs in on Mario Party 10

Famitsu has a review on Mario Party 10 this week. As we learned a few days ago, the game earned a score of 33 points out of 40 between four editors.

Sakaguchi explains why the original Final Fantasy makes him the most proud

Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi worked on a bunch of Final Fantasy games throughout his career. But which one is he the most proud of? That honor goes to the original Final Fantasy.
In an interview with IGN, Sakaguchi explained why this is his choice:
“There was no guarantee that this game would make it. There were a lot of worries, a lot of unstable factors going into this project. The original team only consisted of four people. Even in the end when we wrapped up the project, there was probably about ten of us.”
Sakaguchi added: “The culmination of [all] the feelings and memories I have towards the first Final Fantasy is probably the largest.”
