Batora: Lost Haven Switch release date set for April

Batora: Lost Haven now has a release date on Switch. The title is slated for April 6, 2023, publisher Team17 and developer Stormind Games revealed today.
Batora: Lost Haven is a hybrid hack ānā slash combat and twin-stick shooting mechanics with intricate puzzle solving. It was first announced at the start of 2021.

Hockey action game Goons: Legends & Mayhem heading to Switch

Publisher Firestoke and developer RageCure Games have unveiled Goons: Legends & Mayhem, a new hockey action game for Switch. A release is planned for 2023.
The title is said to follow in the footsteps of other outings like Mario Strikers and Windjammers. It’ll bring “cartoon brawling action to the sport of hockey, delivering fun multiplayer matches where outrageous special abilities are key to your goal of getting the puck into the net.”

Fire Emblem Heroes has announced New Heroes & Rearmed Tana as its latest summoning event. It will feature Gilliam: Wall of Silence (voiced by Regan Murdock, art by DAI-XT), Syrene: Graceful Rider (voiced by Risa Mei, art by Pavilion Ushima), Vanessa: Dutiful Rider (voiced by Apphia Yu, art by Naruse Uroko), and Tana: Soaring Princess (voiced by Melissa Fahn, art by Mikuro).
Gilliam comes with the learnable skills Frelian Lance, Bonfire, Sturdy Stance 3, Vengeful Fighter 4, A/D Near Save 3. For Syrene, it’s Frelian Blade, Moonbow, Spd/Res Catch 4, and Pegasus Flight 4. Vanessa’s skills are Up-Front Lance+, Luna, Atk/Res Catch 3, and Spd/Res Oath 3. Lastly, Tana’s lineup is Arcane Nastrond, Deadeye, Atk/Spd Unity, Soaring Wings, and Guidance 4.

Gummy Cat has come out with a new version 1.7.1 update for its laid-back management adventure game Bear and Breakfast.
The game just released in Japan, so Japanese support has been added in. A number of bug fixes and other adjustments have also been implemented – including “an experimental tool for attempting to fix specific save files that had bugged progression.”

It’s the middle of March, which means we now have the lineup of finalists for the World Video Game Hall of Fame – this time for 2023.
