When we last spoke about JetGetters, the game’s Kickstarter had received a Wii U stretch goal. The campaign ended up reaching its overall target, but developer tinyBuild ended up cancelling the funding process.

The studio explained in a Kickstarter update:

During the Game Developers Conference (GDC) and the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX East) – We found an investor to assist tinyBuild in expanding our development and publishing efforts. Because of the time it will take in bringing our new partners up-to-speed and hiring on additional people for JetGetters we have decided to cancel the Kickstarter. The main reason for this is because we feel strongly that if we promise something, we better damn well deliver on it and with the few month delay we won’t be able to deliver JetGetters this year.

We have a reputation to uphold and don’t want to be lumped in with all the other kickstarters that have been delayed and or abandoned. Being up front and honest about everything is always what we strive for.

As mentioned above, JetGetters will still be coming out, but with a 2015 release date. What this means to you as backers is that you get to keep all your money and will still get to play JetGetters in the future!

Unfortunately, tinyBuild’s update doesn’t provide any information about the status of JetGetters on Wii U – or other consoles for that matter. Hopefully we do ultimately end up seeing the game on Nintendo’s system.

Amazon Spain and other retailers recently listed the next Skylanders game on their websites. “Skylanders: Trap Team”, which may have been lost a bit in translation, will be available for Wii U, Wii, 3DS, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Retailers have been including an October 10 launch date, though that’s not confirmed at this time. Official details about the next Skylanders will be unveiled on April 23.

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Nintendo of America announced today that it will join with the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, to bring fun, active-play video games to the White House Easter Egg Roll.

Nintendo will be at the event with Wii Fit U and Wii Sports Club, two Wii U games that ask players to get up off their couches and get active. The two games align with this year’s theme of the event, “Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape,” which encourages children and families to live healthier and more active lifestyles. Visitors can play Wii Fit U and Wii Sports Club on the Ellipse before they head over to the nearby South Lawn of the White House. In addition, Mario and Luigi costumed characters will also be on site to greet guests, take photos with fans and cheer on families as they play.

Swords & Soldiers HD has successfully made it out of lot check in Europe without any issues. Presumably, Two Tribes won’t encounter any issues when submitting the North American version as well.

Two Tribes shared the news on Twitter through the following tweet:

Two Tribes originally hoped to have Swords & Soldiers HD out this month. The game probably won’t be ready next week, but will likely launch in May.

Update: Developer Jason Cirillo has said on Twitter that the game hasn’t been officially confirmed for 3DS just yet:

Gaijin Games announced its next title “Woah Dave!” – described as a “frantic, score-chasing arcade game” – at PAX East 2014 last week. Fortunately, we can rest easy knowing that the project will be on at least one Nintendo platform.

While conducting an interview, Gamezebo spotted someone from the team “sitting on the floor of the booth with a laptop working on a 3DS version of Woah Dave!”. Gaijin previously hinted at a 3DS version, but this seems to be the closest we’ve come to an official confirmation.

You can find Woah Dave!’s first trailer above.
