The Wizard will always have close ties to Nintendo for its promotion of the NES and introduction to Super Mario Bros. 3. Now more than thirty years after the film’s original debut, it will now have a re-release on Blu-ray with a special collector’s edition.

The upcoming collector’s edition is confirmed to have new special features. Fans can look forward to audio commentary, deleted scenes, interviews, and more.

NIS America announced today that it will hold a panel at PAX South 2020. It’s something fans will want to keep an eye on, as the company will share “information that has never been revealed” in addition to “new announcements”. NIS America says that there will be a “special guest” talking about one of those upcoming announcements.

The NIS America panel will be held on January 17 at 2:30 PM CT in the Main Theatre in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. For those who won’t be attending, it will be streamed live on Twitch.

The Game Awards has certainly made a name for itself over the past few years. Millions upon millions of viewers tune in to the show for first looks at new titles and to see all of the trophies handed out. At this point, you could definitely say that it’s one of the industry’s most important events.

Out of everything that has happened at The Game Awards, one of the more monumental moments for creator and host Geoff Keighley was seeing Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma and Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi come on stage to accept their Game of the Year prize. Keighley told Hollywood Reporter:

The leadup to Super Nintendo World’s opening at Universal Studios Japan continues. Today, LUCASTUDIOS_USJ shared a few photos of a park crew bus from the theme park.

Super Mario characters are on one side of the bus, and we also have some heavy Mario Kart imagery on the other side. The whole vehicle is decked out in red and blue colors.

What will be a big aspect of gaming in the future? If you were to ask former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, it would be streaming.

Reggie told Hollywood Reporter that streaming could take off over the next decade. Players will be able to experience any game on any device thanks to advances with the cloud and increase in download speeds.
