The Super Mario Orchestra debuts this weekend in Kyoto, Japan. To celebrate the event, they’ve released a piece of music that you can listen to and download here.

Additionally, a Mario mascot will be joining the festivities, which is sure to liven up the concert.

Build-A-Bear is expanding its Pokemon offerings once again. On September 13, the store will launch an online exclusive Alolan Vulpix bundle that includes a 13-inch Alolan Vulpix plush, an Alolan Vulpix Cape, an Alolan Vulpix Sleeper, an Alolan Vulpix 6-in-1 Sound, and a Build-A-Bear Workshop Exclusive Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) card.

The Make-Your-Own Alolan Vulpix plush and Alolan Vulpix Cape will be available for purchase separately at all U.S., U.K. and Canada Build-A-Bear Workshop stores.

Capcom has confirmed a notable presence for Ace Attorney at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. A panel will be held on September 22, lasting roughly 40 minutes. Ace Attorney series producer Motohide Eshiro and game designer Shinsuke Kodama will be present.

Because of a major earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, Nintendo decided to delay the recently announced Nintendo Direct. Stay tuned for when a new date is announced.

In what has essentially become a tradition at this point, Nintendo NY will be hosting a viewing event for the Nintendo Direct taking place tomorrow. Fans can stop by and watch the presentation with others on the store’s 15-foot screen.

The new Nintendo Direct kicks off at 6 PM ET. Games for Switch and 3DS will be shown, and announcements are planned.

Typhoon Jebi carved its way through Japan this week. The storm had a major impact on the country and was the strongest typhoon there since 1993.

As it turns out, even Nintendo’s headquarters was affected. The “N” in the company’s logo was actually lodged off the building due to the typhoon, which you can see above.

Due to the typhoon, Nintendo has closed off telephone and online customer support for Japanese consumers for the time being.

The latest episode of Nintendo’s Japanese show Nyannyan Neko Mario Time has now gone live. We’ve included it below.

September 20 to September 23 seems to be a popular time for conventions this year – while Tokyo Game Show 2018 will take place in Japan during that time, EGX 2018 will take place in Birmingham, England on the same dates. Today, Nintendo announced its plans for the show.

All of Nintendo’s major first-party games releasing this year will be playable at EGX, including Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee!, which will be playable for the first time in Europe. Of course, attendees will also be able to check out Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Super Mario Party.

Finally, the next Splatoon 2 UK Championship 2018 Octo League qualifier will also take place at EGX, on September 22. Those wishing to participate in the qualifier can either register via e-mail now or in person at EGX on September 21. The qualifier will also be live-streamed Youtube and Twitch.
