The latest episode of Pokemon Generations is now live on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. We’ve gone ahead and attached it below.

Pokemon Generations revisits each generation of the Pokemon games and sheds new light on some timeless moments. New episodes will be available weekly through December 23.

The final entry in Nintendo’s NES Classic Edition interview series has gone live. The last one highlights the original Metroid, with director Yoshio Sakamoto and character designer Hiroji Kiyotake participating.

During the interview, there was talk about how the team set up to make something different from Super Mario Bros., and focused on movement. We also hear about how Samus Aran got her name and how the team decided to make her female.

David Young, who is now actually working at PR for Nintendo, used to be a counselor for the Power Line. VICE caught up with him to talk a bit about its history, including how it started. Check out the interview below.

For those in Canada, the Zelda 30th anniversary amiibo are back in stock on Amazon. Ocarina of Time Link, 8-Bit Link, and the Wind Waker double pack are all available once again. All of these figures arrive tomorrow.

Still hunting for the NES Classic Edition? If you fall into this camp, Toys “R” Us may be your best bet in the coming days. The retailer has said that all of its stores nationwide will have a new shipment of the NES Classic Edition. New units will likely be snatched up quickly.

Reggie Fils-Aime will be appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in just a few days. A television listing has the Nintendo of America president down for next Wednesday’s episode – December 7.

Reggie has shown up on Fallon’s shows a number of times over the past few years when he hosted Late Night. You can see some of his previous appearances here.

The latest episode of the Play Nintendo Show has gone live. View the new video below, which focuses on Super Mario Maker for 3DS.

Much like Pikachu and Eevee, Sonic the Hedgehog now has his own plush from Build-A-Bear Workshop. The official website has it listed for $35. Note that this is an online exclusive bundle. It contains the 17-inch Sonic plush, gold ring accessory, and an exclusive print created by Sonic Team.

That’s not all though. Build-A-Bear is also offering a pre-stuffed, 13-inch Miles “Tails” Prower doll for $15. You can also nab a T-shirt wearable by any Build-A-Bear doll and featuring Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles sells for $7 at retail. Last but not least, a digital sound clip playing the “Special Stage” theme from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is being sold for $7.

Stores will begin carrying the Sonic-related merchandise on December 3. A closer look at the goodies can be found below.

Nintendo Network

Maintenance will be conducted on the Nintendo Network ID system later today. Users may experience issues logging in through web services that make use of the functionality while it’s taking place.

Here’s the full schedule based on each region:

– 12 PM PT – 4 PM PT
– 3 PM ET – 7 PM ET
– 8 PM in the UK – 12 AM in the UK
– 9 PM in Europe – 1 AM in Europe

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime will be appearing during The Game Awards tomorrow, show creator and host Geoff Keighley confirmed during a live stream today.

Reggie will actually be appearing in all three of The Game Awards thus far. He was there in 2014 as Nintendo featured Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Maker, and Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. Nintendo didn’t have any content or trailers last year, but Reggie was back to honor the legacy of the late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.

This year, Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be returning in a big way. It will not only be featured during The Game Awards pre-show, but during the actual show as well.
