Update: Well, it looks like @trintran is a master troll. He was joking, folks! Bill is still at Nintendo.

Longtime Nintendo employee Bill Trinen has apparently left the company. His Twitter profile states that he “used to work at Nintendo”, and Trinen also sent out the following tweet:

Plenty of rumors have been circulating about Stella Glow developer Imageepoch. The company’s status has finally been made clear, and unfortunately, the news isn’t very good.

Imageepoch as well as affiliate Smile Online Game have both declared bankruptcy. The two sides have debts of 1.1 billion yen (roughly $11 million) and 3 million yen ($30,000) respectively. Imageepoch’s debt is owed to 43 creditors while Smile Online Game’s debt is owed to 5 creditors.

Back in 2011, Imageepoch made 1.751 billion yen (roughly 17.5 million) in annual income. That number dropped to 410 million yen (roughly 4.1 million) by 2013, and the company fell into debt due to game development costs and being unable to hit sales targets. Due to the worsening situation, Imageepoch ceased operations in November 2014.

Stella Glow is the latest title from Imageepoch, which is now being published by SEGA in Japan early next month. At the end of March, Atlus announced that the RPG would be coming to North America later this year.

The restock of the Marth amiibo is happening – slowly but surely. Amazon has been taking orders during very, very brief periods (so brief in fact that by the time we’d put a post up, the figure would already be sold out). GameStop is now joining in on the fun as well.

Marth isn’t available online, but you may have luck finding him in-store. GameStop’s inventory tracker indicates that the amiibo is starting to appear at some locations. You can try finding a nearby GameStop outlet that has the Marth figure here.

Nintendo will finally be revealing its E3 2015 plans tomorrow, the company has confirmed.

Specific details are, naturally, being kept under wraps for now. Nintendo only shared a photo of someone in pink sweats – perhaps Reggie Fils-Aime?

In any case, check back tomorrow at 12 PM ET / 9 AM PT for news about Nintendo’s E3 2015 plans.

Castlevania has a long-standing history on Nintendo platforms. So the hope was that the next game from Koji Igarashi, one of the series’ main creator, would end up on a Nintendo system.

Igarashi finally announced “Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night” today in partnership with Inti Creates after several days of teasing. The current plan is only to make the project for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, a Nintendo version hasn’t been ruled out entirely.

On the game’s Kickstarter page, a statement from the Q&A says the following about why the campaign doesn’t include support for Nintendo systems:

Our budget left us with two options: Build the biggest, most beautiful game we can, or make sure it runs everywhere from the start. As things stand today, we can’t afford to create the two separate versions of this game that would be necessary to make it run on every console. That said, we’ve heard legends about a remarkable treasure hidden in the castle basement…

That sounds somewhat encouraging! Perhaps if the Kickstarter campaign clears its initial stretch goals, a Nintendo version might be something that will be given greater consideration – especially given that last sentence, and how the stretch goals are constructed at present:

Last week, Viz Media reprinted the Zelda: A Link to the Past comic that was featured in Nintendo Power over two decades ago. GameXplain has now posted a video showing a look at the graphic novel, which is posted below.
