Here’s an interesting tidbit that may come as a surprise: Nintendo Pictures worked on the PS5 title Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. That information comes from the game’s credits.
You may have forgotten about Nintendo Pictures, which was officially established in 2022. The group was formed after Nintendo acquired the visual content company Dynamo Pictures. The original announcement mentioned that Nintendo Pictures would make visual content based on Nintendo IP, but Death Stranding 2 certainly isn’t that.

Crazy Balloon is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch

There’s another Arcade Archives game on the way, and now Hamster has announced Crazy Balloon for the lineup. A worldwide launch is planned for tomorrow, June 26.
Crazy Balloon was originally made by Taito. The action game has players moving a balloon through a thorny maze.

January 29: BEEP have revealed that Cotton Reboot! High Tension!, a sequel to side-scrolling shoot-em-up Cotton Reboot! will be coming to Nintendo Switch. The game is due to release in Japan on July 24, 2025.

Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition announced for Nintendo Switch 2

We have another announcement from the Little Nightmares universe as Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition was just announced for Nintendo Switch 2. It launches on October 10, 2025.
According to today’s announcement, Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition will run at 4K and 60 frames per second. There’ll also be enhanced graphics with volumetric lighting and more particles, ray-traced reflections, and gameplay optimizations with faster loading times, revised checkpoints, and traversal assistance.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour just went live with a version 1.0.1 update. This is the first post-launch patch for the title.
This appears to be a small update – no new features are introduced. Nintendo is keeping things vague, indicating that some issues have been fixed.

Just a few moments ago, Nintendo started distribution of a version 1.4.1 update for Super Mario Odyssey.
Nintendo is still addressing a few remaining backwards compatibility issues on Switch 2. With today’s patch, that’s what’s tackled here. Nintendo says that issues have been addressed for Switch 2 players.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just received an update, with the game moving up to version 13.0.4.
Around the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, we heard that there were some issues with the Mii Fighter. The system’s recent firmware update addressed a part of this issue, but now it has been fully resolved.

Bullets & Brains will head to Nintendo Switch this week, No Gravity Games and Ajvar Studio have announced. It will be available this Thursday, June 26.
Bullets & Brains is a top-down 3D shooter. The action takes place in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by brain-hungry hordes of zombies, so it’ll be your job to survive waves of undead while collecting brains to level up and unlock devastating abilities.
