Atlus uploaded its second demon trailer for Shin Megami Tensei of the day, with Skadi being the latest featured creature. The demon has appeared regularly since Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.

Castlevania Advance Collection all but confirmed for Switch

Back in June, a rating for Castlevania Advance Collection popped up in Australia. It’s been a few months since then, but it looks like Konami is still moving forward with the release.
A rating for Castlevania Advance Collection has now appeared in Taiwan. Additionally, we now have actual platforms listed, and Switch is among them. The Australia classification previously had it down as “multiplatform”.

Rhythm game Sixtar Gate: Startrail announced for Switch

Publisher CFK, along with developers Lyrebird Studio and Magical Works, today announced Sixtar Gate: Startrail. The rhythm game is planned for a 2021 release on Switch.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina has only a couple of weeks to go until launch, but Project Lumina and French-Bread just revealed Vlov Arkhangel as the game’s latest character. He’s the nineteenth of The Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors in Tsukihime.
According to the official website, Vlov is a Dead Apostle from the frozen lands of the far north who has arrived in the city of Souya. As a being starved of warmth, he feeds on blood for feed that he can then use to create flames. One of his abilities allows Vlov to switch from Flame Mode to Ice Mode when in danger. In doing so, his abilities are greatly expanded, “granting him nearly unrivaled strength.”
Nira out on Switch in October

Nira, the sandbox survival adventure game from publisher Graffiti Games and developer Baseline Games, now has a release date. The two companies announced today that the launch is scheduled for October 14 on Switch.
Nira will have you venturing through procedurally generated islands to unravel the story of a mysterious Totem while trying to stay alive. The game offers fast-paced building, crafting, fighting, farming and quests. You’ll be able to build a base, hunt, cook, battle ogres, make friends with a mysterious Totem, ride an alpaca, fly a plane, and more to survive.

Pokemon Sword/Shield hosting Max Raid Battle event with Lunatone and Solrock

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are now hosting their latest Max Raid Battle event, which puts the focus on Lunatone and Solrock.
Both of these creatures are more likely to appear while the event is live. If luck is on your side, you may have an opportunity to capture a Shiny Lunatone or a Shiny Solrock. These are the only two Pokemon featured this time around.

Original (9/13): Eastasiasoft have announced not one, but two physical releases for Switch with The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel and Love Esquire.
The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel is brand new to Switch. It will first be arriving in December, with the physical version happening at a later date. Copies of the boxed version will be sold in standard and limited editions, with the latter including the game, manual, soundtrack CD, and numbered certificate in a collectors box.

FMV game Bloodshore due out on Switch in November

Wales Interactive has another FMV game lined up for Switch, as the company today unveiled Bloodshore. The title, which comes from the producers of The Complex and Five Dates, arrives on Switch in November. Wayout Pictures, Good Gate Media, and Posterity Entertainment are all involved with development.
Wales Interactive says that Bloodshore has eight hours of FMV footage, which is actually the most the company has ever produced. The title itself involves the deadly televised battle royale between high-profile streamers, entertainers, and death row inmates. All of the action follows main character Nick, a washed-up actor who is competing on Kill/Stream for a life-changing cash prize. The island hides a certain truth that Nick will need to discover before time runs out.

Pokemon Unite downloads surpass nine million, Aeos Tickets to be distributed

Pokemon Unite has surpassed nine million downloads, The Pokemon Company and TiMi Studio Group have announced. That number accounts for all installs through the Switch eShop since launch.
To celebrate, all players will be given 2,000 Aeos Tickets. This will be made available starting on September 29.
