Minecraft received a new 1.16.200 update on Switch today. It includes new volume settings, parity changes, and lots of bug fixes.

Super Mario Bros. 35 – new Special Battle event announced for December 11

Super Mario Bros. 35 has announced a new Special Battle featuring some of the game’s final stages. The lineup includes 7-1, 7-2, 7-3, 8-1, 8-2, and 8-3. Basically, you’re getting everything from Worlds 7 and 8 except the castle courses.
The new Super Mario Bros. 35 Special Battle event will kick off on December 11. It’ll last through the weekend, ending on December 14.

Smash Bros. Ultimate to host tournament featuring mushroom items

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has announced its latest event, which is focused on mushroom items. Super Mushroom, Poison Mushroom, and Ramblin’ Evil Mushroom will be present here. These items make you bigger or smaller, or can reverse your opponent’s controls.
The new Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament goes live on December 11. It will last for a total of three days.
Turn-based simulation RPG Traditional Tactics Ne+ coming to Switch next week

Update (12/8): Amazon UK has opened pre-orders for the Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Deluxe Edition here. It ships to the U.S. for those that prefer this version.
Original; (12/3): Earlier today, the Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Premium Edition was announced. Amazon is now taking pre-orders here.
The Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Premium Edition includes a 13.5” by 24” cloth poster and a 2.5” tall by 4” long buffalo pocket plushie. Of course, you’ll be getting a physical copy as well.

To end 2020, Minecraft is giving out several new gifts for players.
Content will be distributed from Noxcrew, Pixelheads, Gamemode One, and Jigarbov Productions. Players can look forward to new character creator items and maps over the course of four weeks.

2021 is a big year for Pokemon. Not only is the franchise itself turning five years old, but Pokemon GO is celebrating its fifth anniversary. A new event is on the way to celebrate, which will take place on February 20, 2021.
Pokemon GO: Kanto will have paid and non-paid versions to choose from. If you pay for the event, you’ll be able to choose between Red and Green versions with exclusive Pokemon, encounter all Pokemon originally discovered in Kanto, access a Special Research story, and more. Even if you don’t pay, all players can access some Pokemon originally discovered in Kanto in the wild and Raids, a few Legendary Pokemon will be returning to Legendary raids, event-exclusive Timed Research will be available, and trade range will be increased to 40 km.
