Fire Emblem Heroes – Summoning Focus Tempest Trials+, one day Summoning Event and Bound Hero Battle

Fire Emblem Heroes is hosting a new Summoning Focus, Tempest Trials+. In this event, Tibarn: Lord of the Air, Veronica: Brave Princess, and Eyvel: Mistress of Fiana are featured as part of a 5-star summoning focus. To celebrate, a new series of log-in bonuses has also been made available starting today. This Summoning Focus will be available until August 18.
Additionally, another Bound Hero Battle is here for one day only featuring Cherche & Virion and a summoning event featuring Cherche: Wyvern Friend, Virion: Elite Archer, and Tiki: Naga’s Voice also for one day. Be sure to try and get these heroes while they are here!
Co-op beat ’em up action game Ogre Tale coming to Switch

The creator of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Mages., along with publisher Degica Games will be bringing Ogre Tale to Switch and other platforms. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have shared a trailer for the next event in Fire Emblem Heroes. Pirate’s Pride will feature Tibarn, Brigid, Geese, Darros and Veronica (and Xander). A new Paralogue Story is also planned.

Ikaruga physical release arriving next month in Japan, “soon” in the west

New information is in regarding the physical release of Ikaruga.
In Japan, there’s already a confirmed release date of September 24. Nicalis, who is handling the overseas version, is only stating that it’s coming “soon” and it’ll be out by the end of 2020.

Free Style’s asymmetric action game will be made free for Nintendo Switch Online members in Japan next week, Nintendo has announced. The entire experience can be accessed between August 10 and August 16. After the free period ends, all progress can be transferred to the full version.
A special sale price is also planned. Obakeidoro! will be sold for 30 percent off – from 1,980 yen to 1,380 yen – between August 10 and August 23.

Proletariat has opened up about the Switch version of Spellbreak, the upcoming fantasy action battle royale game.
CEO Seth Sivak mentioned to Nintendo World Report that most of the work is being handled internally, though the team is receiving assistance from “several outstanding external companies on different parts of the game”. Although the texture quality and material quality have been “slightly scaled back” and the models are “slightly lower details”, a primary goal has been to preserve “great performance while also making the game as beautiful as possible.”
