Panic Button initially saw the potential in Switch, thought it had a bit more power than most people would think

Panic Button initially jumped on Switch, which allowed the team to bring over a number of high-quality ports. Rocket League, Doom, and Wolfenstein are just some of the games the studio worked on.
Panic Button wasn’t sure how Switch would turn out when the company was first introduced the system, but co-founder Michael Traub told Engadget that the company “saw the potential in it.” Panic Button also thought the device could be a bit more powerful than some people would give it credit for.

HORI to release new gamepad-style Switch Joy-Con for Daemon X Machina

HORI has revealed new gamepad-style Switch Joy-Con for Daemon X Machina. In Japan, the product launches in September. Pricing is set at 4,780 yen.
The controller is designed exclusively for portable play, and features a button on the back. It is not compatible with various features like gyro controls or HD Rumble.

NBA 2K19 is now on sale for just $2.99 on the Switch eShop

Cadence of Hyrule pre-load live, file size

Cadence of Hyrule is just a day away from launching. Yesterday, Nintendo announced that the game arrives on June 13 via the eShop.
If you want to get a head start on downloading the game, pre-loading from the eShop is now available. The game takes up 677MB of space.

At E3 2019, Game Informer was able to catch up with Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma and discuss the recently-revealed Breath of the Wild sequel.
Why are we getting a direct sequel in the first place? As it turns out, he wanted to “revisit that Hyrule again”, but now with “new gameplay and new story”. He said:
