Super Smash Bros. Ultimate isn’t terribly far off, but there’s still a good amount that we don’t know about the game. There are still characters to be announced, an entire mode to be discussed, and details about online play to be shared. When it comes to online functionality, there’s one small but possibly noteworthy tidbit starting to make the rounds.

Japanese retailer GEO has started distributing a pamphlet for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. On one page, it’s stated that up to 32 players will be supported online. That probably doesn’t mean we’ll see 32-player battles in regular matches, but that could extend to a certain online mode or feature.

Fire Emblem Heroes is hosting a new event as of today. Players can participate in Forging Bonds: Dueling Desires, which will last until November 10.

Croixleur Sigma

Croixleur Sigma is due out on the Switch eShop – at least in Japan – starting next week. Watch a new trailer for the game below.

Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth Games are putting Brawlhalla on Switch on November 6. But if you’d like to give it a try early, that might be possible. That’s because fans now have the chance to register for early access.

Those who are selected will receive a follow-up email sometime after registering. Everything earned will carry over to the final release.

When Mario Kart 64 debuted many years ago, it was accompanied by a strategy guide in Japan. Several developers participated in an interview, which has finally been translated by shumpalations. For us, some of the most interesting comments came about when discussing original plans for the game.

We first get to hear from director Hideki Konno about how mini-turbos were originally intended to be a hidden feature. Furthermore, the color of the smoke initially remained the same.

After it was originally scheduled for release earlier this month, Johnny Turbo’s Arcade: Heavy Burger arrived on the Switch eShop on Thursday. Check out some footage below.

Nintendo Australia shared a new interview with Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda and Kensaku Nabana a few hours ago.
