HomeBearStudio provided an update on the Switch version of NAIRI: Tower of Shirin in a Kickstarter post published yesterday.

NAIRI’s Switch port is “nearing completion,” according to the developer. You’ll be able to play with standard Joy-Con, gyro motion controls, or with the touchscreen in portable or tabletop modes. Other improvements are being implemented including support for more languages, “tweaks and changes to the game’s puzzles, dialogue and even some of the art assets”.

Ikagura - Nintendo Switch

Ikaruga is coming to Switch, Treasure and Nicalis have announced. It will cost $14.99.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition

A listing on the North American Switch eShop reveals that Natsume will be offering a bundle for Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition. Along with the game, some DLC will be included. The bundle allows customers to save a decent amount of money compared to buying everything separately.

The full list of items in the bundle are as follows:

In April, the Federal Trade Commission warned six companies about warranty violations. Motherboard reports that Nintendo was one of those companies. Sony, Microsoft, Hyundai, HTC, and ASUS were the others.

In letters sent out to each company, the FTC states that customers have been illegally told about having their warranty voided by getting third-party repairs. Such information is relayed through stickers and messages in end user license agreements. It’s a violation of the 1975 Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act in that manufacturers charging over $5 for a product can’t put repair restrictions on a device its offering a warranty on.

Nintendo Switch

Last year, Gamevice filed a lawsuit against Nintendo. The company wasn’t happy with Switch as its detachable controllers bear a resemblance to the Wikipad, which had been patented previously and had been implemented in past products. Gamevice was seeking compensation and a ban on Switch sales.

The U.S. International Trade Commission today voted to begin an investigation following a complaint from Gamevice. The complaint was filed on March 30, which requests “a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.”
