Awhile back, Nintendo put up a Japanese page which allowed visitors to make their own Super Mario Maker wallpapers. The same site is now up in English here. It supports wallpaper creation for both desktops and smartphones.

Simon Kemp’s departure from Nintendo UK was made known earlier this month. He’s now been replaced by Nicolas Wegnez, who will become the company’s new general manager.

Wegnez has been with Nintendo for over 20 years. His most recent position was with Nintendo Iberica as marketing and PR director.

Amazon Japan and Rakuten have revealed that One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum will release for 3DS on September 21st in Japan. It will feature a mode where the player sails around the world, gathering their favorite crew, as well as a competitive online mode. Furthermore, first-print buyers will earn several rewards, including early unlocks for assist characters Edward Newgate, Marco, and Jozu, an in-game item for use in the “Create a Pirate Crew” mode, and a unique 3DS theme (via download code). Level-5 has been releasing information for their annual big press conference, Level-5 Vision, over the year, and now they have set a date and time: July 27th, from 15:30 to 17:00 JST (1:30 to 3:00 EST). The conference is being sub-titled “New Heroes” and will feature updates and reveals for much of Level-5’s upcoming projects. This includes Yo-Kai Watch, the previously announced Snack World, a new cross-media project, and an update on a mysterious title “I…”. Previous hints from the company have all but said that it will be an Inazuma Eleven project. Furthermore, 500 fans will be chosen via lottery to attend the event.

Before that, though, there will also be a NicoNico Stream this Friday, June 24th, that will feature more information about the event, as well as Yo-Kai Watch 3, the Yo-Kai Watch movie hitting Japan in December, and a secret about the previously mentioned “I…” title.

After Level-5 Vision, there will also be a Level-5 Fan Night from 19:30 to 21:30 JST (5:30 to 7:30 EST). This will feature fan participation events, discussions about Level-5 titles, a Yo-Kai Watch activity corner, a concert, and some event revolving around the “I…” title. 1,800 fans will be chosen via lottery to attend.
