Developer confirms Terraria for Wii U and 3DS
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii U | 3 Comments
We finally have a confirmation that Terraria is in the works for Wii U and 3DS. Ratings for both versions have been listed on various retailers and ratings boards, but publisher 505 Games never made an official announcement. While that still hasn’t changed, developer Re-Logic stepped forward with a confirmation of their own.
“Terraria is indeed coming to Wii U and 3DS,” lead developer Whitney Baird noted on the game’s forum.
We don’t have any information beyond this, but at least we can finally say that Terraria is bound for both of Nintendo’s platforms. I imagine we’ll be hearing more soon enough!

The game will also have Spotpass functionality.
We’ve also got a couple new screenshots of the game. Check them out in the gallery below:
A Western release date for Rhythm Heaven: The Best Plus has not yet been announced. Who knows, maybe we’ll hear something at E3 next week?

Nintendo eShop to become part of IARC in the future
Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in General Nintendo | 5 Comments
Last week, we reported on Tappingo coming to Europe soon, with the exception of Germany, where the game will not be released likely in part due to the cost of having to acquire an age rating for Germany in addition to the PEGI rating required for the rest of Europe. However, situations like that might soon be a thing of the past. GoNintendo reports that the Nintendo eShop, in addition to other platforms, will join the IARC (International Age Rating Coalition), which allows to developers to more easily obtain appropriate age ratings for various regions simply be filling out a form. In an increasingly globalized marketplace, this is certainly a welcome option.
It might be a while before this has a tangible benefit for Nintendo platforms, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction. We’ll keep you updated on further developments.
