Collavier has revealed that Comic Workshop 2 is heading overseas next month. We’ll be seeing the 3DS app on June 18 in both North America and Europe via the eShop.

Comic Workshop 2 will be priced at $9.99 / €7.99 / £7.19. Those who purchased the first entry will be able to take advantage of a 40 percent discount.

Collavier is including a number of new and upgraded tools in Comic Workshop 2. There are also new functions such as a layer blending mode, transparency lock, ability to display images on a grid, and more.

It’s been a long time coming, but the BBC iPlayer is finally out on the UK Wii U eShop. After downloading the 94 MB app, users will be able to watch various on-demand programming.

BBC iPlayer for Wii U is very much like the iPlayer Smart TV app, complete with HD playback. It also supports off-TV play.

Square Enix launched the official website for Dragon Quest VIII’s new 3DS version today. Access it here. Previously, the site was in a teaser state.

At the moment, visitors can view some of the first Dragon Quest VIII 3DS screenshots (posted on the site yesterday). Expect more content on the site over the next few months.
