Miyamoto: “Mobile apps will not be the primary path of future Mario games”

After previous resistance when it came to putting content on mobile, several years ago, Nintendo started to branch out and toy around with different apps you can experience on a smart device. Mario even got in on the action with Super Mario Run, which is available on iOS and Android. However, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has indicated that mobile won’t be Mario’s home in the future.
Miyamoto told Variety in an interview: “Mobile apps will not be the primary path of future Mario games.”

Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition soundtracks seeing official release

Procyon Studio has announced extensive plans for the Xenoblade Chronicles soundtracks, with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition now confirmed to be seeing official releases.
The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Original Soundtrack is due out on August 2, 2023. It contains over 140 tracks, clocking in at roughly nine hours.
Boss rush game Mixx Island: Remix Plus dropping on Switch next week

Pokemon Stadium joins Nintendo Switch Online next week

Pokemon Stadium is coming to Nintendo Switch Online next week, Nintendo just announced. It will be available on April 12, 2023 via the Expansion Pack tier.
Pokemon Stadium originally launched in 2000 for the N64. The battle arena title contains every Pokemon from Pokemon Red / Blue / Yellow.

Bumballon, retro-inspired puzzle game, out on Switch this week

Ratalaika Games has yet another game lined up for Switch, and has now announced Bumballon for the platform. It will be available on April 7, 2023.
Bumballon was originally made by Angelo Gamedev. It’s a retro-inspired puzzle game with 35 different levels.

Poosh XL, spiritual successor to Ding Dong XL, out on Switch in May

Adamvision Studios announced today that it will be bringing Poosh XL to Switch. The arcade-style experience arrives on May 8, 2023.
You may recognize Adamvision Studios for Ding Dong XL, which previously ended up on Switch. That one launched for the system back in 2019.
