Mario Kart 7 update 1.2

Original: Believe it or not, a new version 1.2 update has just gone live for Mario Kart 7. Yes, this is the 3DS game we’re talking about – not Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch.

Nintendo has shared the patch notes, but they don’t provide much insight. The company only states: “Several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.”

Mario Strikers: Battle League update 1.3.0

Nintendo and Next Level Games have just started distribution of the new version 1.3.0 update for Mario Strikers: Battle League, and we have the patch notes.

The third content drop for the game was announced yesterday, and can be accessed now. As a reminder, it’s highlighted by Birdo and Bowser Jr. as new characters. The Urban Rooftop stage and Shellfish Gear are also included. There are some other aspects to the update such as a “Quick Chat” feature while playing online.

Skullgirls update Season 1 Pass

January is set to be a big month for Skullgirls 2nd Encore on Switch, with the team confirming that a massive update and release of Season 1 Pass are planned.

With the update, the game on Switch will have parity with other platforms. It will replace the previous version “with almost a full rewrite of the port’s codebase, fixing numerous issues specific to that version.” Players can look forward to enhanced load times that are over twice as fast as before, better performance, sharper UI, and smoother online play.
