Atlus has shared some new information about Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology. The following was translated by Gematsu.

First up, some info on the staff working on the game. The director is Mitsuru Hirata, who was the director of the original Radiant Historia game, the chief director of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and has also worked on several Shin Megami Tensei titles such as Shin Megami Tensei IV and SMT: Strange Journey.

The music is being done by the legendary Yoko Shimomura, who has composed dozens of excellent game soundtracks, including series like Kingdom Hearts, Mario & Luigi, Xenoblade Chronicles and the original Radiant Historia. She composed five new tracks for the 3DS version.

Responsible for the new characters designs is Masaki Hirooka, who previously worked on Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Suikoden Tierkreis and Kid Icarus: Uprising. Hirooka also drew several new event scenes.

The new animated opening movie is being produced by A-1 Pictures, a prestigious animation studio responsible for works such as Fairy Tail, Erased, Your Lie in April and the recent Ace Attorney anime.

The story remains largely the same as in the original game, with the main character Stocke being caught up in a war between the countries Granorg and Alistel while he discovers his ability to travel between alternate histories.

A new character called Nemesia appears in the 3DS version. She is a historian that doesn’t belong to either of the two main timelines, but rather the new “Sub-History” timeline. She’s looking for a material known as “Artifact”.

Most of the original’s gameplay mechanics stay the same in this remake, such as the ability to travel between certain points in the alternate histories, the ability to perform various actions in the overworld and the game’s unique grid-based combat system.

Head past the break for some more info on what has changed in the remake as well as tons of new screenshots and art.

NIS America sent out a new wave of screenshots and details for its upcoming 3DS game creator RPG Maker Fes.

RPG Maker Fes gives users the ability to develop their own world, story, and characters. Specific event conditions can be included that must be met for another event to occur, while also allowing you to customize your characters’ and enemies’ characteristics and parameters, specify flashy finishing moves, set collisions to create seemingly inaccessible “secret rooms”, and more.

We’ve included today’s RPG Maker Fes screenshots below. The system details, courtesy of the official website, are located below.

With the last update of their website, Famitsu has also uploaded the first screenshots of Kamiko, a new action game that will be arriving on the Switch next month in Japan.

This game has been developed by Fairune devs Skipmore and will present players with the control of three “Divine Maidens” with different powers and abilities in a fantastic and pixelated world.

GameSpot was able to get a taste of what Fire Emblem Echoes has to offer at PAX East this weekend. In a new article, the site shares additional details and screenshots. Find the new content rounded up below.

– Rather than moving directly from mission to mission, a world map allows you to have some freedom in choosing what you do next
– Once again, dungeons are in the game
– Explore dungeons in 3D with a third-person camera
– Dungeons have destroyable objects and treasure chests with items and money to find
– Encounter enemies in dungeons as well
– Engaging one takes you into a standard Fire Emblem battle
= It’s almost like a mini mission, as you still have access to your squad and face multiple enemies, rather than simply taking part in a one-on-one fight
– Gain an edge by attacking the foe in the dungeon before combat begins, reducing their health to start the battle, – Enemies can do the same to you
– Echoes follows a pair of “dueling” protagonists that you’ll swap between
– Celica and Alm each set out to defend their country, but they take different approaches to doing so
– Swap back and forth between the two routinely
– Can spend longer stretches of time playing as one before jumping into the other’s story
– First Fire Emblem game to feature full voice acting (some very minor characters aside)
– Archers can now counter-attack from a single tile away
– Mages now expend a portion of their health in order to cast spells
– Weapon durability seems to be absent
– No support system during battles
– No traditional weapon triangle
– There are still ways to gain an advantage in battles
