The final game played at the Nintendo World Championships 2017 tonight was none other than Super Mario Odyssey. Nintendo had the last two contestants play the game, which included some new footage. Watch the full recording below.

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime isn’t in attendance at this year’s Nintendo World Championships, but he did record a message that appeared during the opening minutes. We have it below.

After a two-year hiatus, the Nintendo World Championships are back. Nintendo will be hosting the 2017 event today, with the proceedings beginning not too long from now. The tournament should kick off at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.

EA is finally back on Nintendo consoles with FIFA 18. But how exactly is the game from a technical standpoint on Switch? Digital Foundry investigated the game to find out.

The initial impression is that FIFA 18 on Switch has roots from last-gen versions of the game, but expands with new graphical features and gameplay tweaks. It’s sort of an in between release. The Switch version feels like it’s an extension of FIFA 17 instead of down-porting from FIFA 18 on other consoles.
