To be the main voice in a strange Japanese RPG that seemed fated for nothing but cult status in the west probably wasn’t the most notable credit on actor Adam Howden’s resume at the time of recording. Indeed, he did the beloved voice of Shulk in Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii – and by proxy, Smash Bros. – but has also lent his voice to things like Assassin’s Creed and The Old Republic, and it’s more or less chance that the 2011 (or 2012… or 2010, depending on your region…) ended up being his most renowned role, at least among the Nintendo-focused.

For some strange reason – being the talent that he is – Adam agreed to answer a few of our questions about Xenoblade, Smash Bros., and voice acting in general in an email interview we did. You can read all of what he had to say after the break!

Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that it has teamed up with Loot Crate for a limited time amiibo subscription service. All of the figures have now been confirmed, and pricing has been revealed.

Nintendo fans have two pricing options available to them. They are as follows:

unnamed unnamed (1)

In week one, consumers will receive the Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Pikachu amiibo figures along with a collectible mini-mag plus an exclusive sticker and wristband. Yoshi, Fox, Peach, and Samus will follow in week two with another mini-mag and an exclusive cinch bag. To close things out, Luigi and Zelda will be sent in week three with yet another mini-mag and “an ultra rare t-shirt”.

You can find more information over on Loot Crate. Note that crates can only be shipped to the U.S.

Earlier today, Bandai Namco put out a press release for Lost Heroes 2 with a whole slew of details about the game. Gematsu weeded out the new information and has provided complete translations. You can find the full overview below.

Story Overview

Feeling impending danger, legendary heroes come upon Kaiser Belial gathering the Fragments of Regis in an attempt to revive Regis.Their efforts fail, though, with their powers sapped by Kaiser Belial and their lives in jeopardy. With nothing to get in the way of things, the power of the Fragements of Regis are unleashed, raining down darkness upon the world once more and bringing back the evil world of Cube as the forces of justice watch powerlessly. As the bastions of darkness intently pursue that power for its own ends, the Lost Heroes rise up and bring the fight to the enemy in the hopes of preventing Regis’ return before it’s too late.
